Hello again.

This blogg is where I put some of the finished craft projects my girlfriend and I have produced. All the projects use illustrations and graphics I have produced using a mixture of traditional drawing techniques and some computer colouring.

Below is a hot air balloon design I have made from a set I’m currently working on.

Every time I produce a set of images and backgrounds I try and make them more versatile and easier to customize.

A good example of this is the double coloured sheets you’ll see in some of the sets. One sheet contains both block colours and white stripes on that same colour. This will give you more options in your projects and you only have to print it out once.

Anyway enough of my waffling on here’s some pictures.

Here are two quick examples of the designs I have been working on this week. One is based on the ford model T and the other on fishing.

All the backgrounds and images for these cards will be available soon from printable heaven.

Apologies for the poor quality photos and workmanship on the cards. I’m sure more skilled hands could make a vastly better job of it than me.

Pure Power

Today I have finished a design series called pure power. It is a series that can be used to create cards for lovers of petrol-powered machines.

It consists of an illustration of a motorcycle, which is loosely based on an older bike called a BSA Lightning.

I chose the Lightning because I usually find that the older style bikes and cars seem to have more character. I used the complimentary colours of red and green as they create a strong visual image. Plus the fact they are also in the Italian flag would, hopefully, help create a retro vesperish feel.

I have been trying to think up ideas for new illustrations that will appeal to a wide audience. Maybe fishing, maybe football. If anyone has any ideas, or comments about existing designs, please feel free to email me at willstilldesign@hotmail.co.uk
