Here are two quick examples of the designs I have been working on this week. One is based on the ford model T and the other on fishing.

Apologies for the poor quality photos and workmanship on the cards. I’m sure more skilled hands could make a vastly better job of it than me.

Pure Power

Today I have finished a design series called pure power. It is a series that can be used to create cards for lovers of petrol-powered machines.

It consists of an illustration of a motorcycle, which is loosely based on an older bike called a BSA Lightning.

I chose the Lightning because I usually find that the older style bikes and cars seem to have more character. I used the complimentary colours of red and green as they create a strong visual image. Plus the fact they are also in the Italian flag would, hopefully, help create a retro vesperish feel.

I have been trying to think up ideas for new illustrations that will appeal to a wide audience. Maybe fishing, maybe football. If anyone has any ideas, or comments about existing designs, please feel free to email me at willstilldesign@hotmail.co.uk
